Casket tops –
strength and grace
Compression-molded casket tops from Souhegan Wood Products are designed for cloth-covered and hardwood coffin manufacturers. The pressed particle composition of our lids makes them inherently strong, with a slight flexibility for perfect placement. SWP casket tops arrive with a warp-resistant finish that’s ready for cloth cover or veneer application. Or, if you prefer, we can custom veneer casket tops in the wood species of maple, red oak, or white oak.
Casket tops are available in octagon and square designs and measure 97cm L x 48cm W (38″ L x 18.75″ W). The curved profile is 10cm (4″) tall. We can also customize our veneered casket tops to fit more specific needs.
